The Order: 1886 permanently $39.99

The Order: 1886 permanently $39.99

What do you do when a game doesn’t live up to the hype? When it’s good, in its way, but isn’t what everyone hoped it would be? In the case of Sony’s The Order: 1886, you drop the price and hope that convinces people to buy it. It’s now $39.99.

This move comes after The Order: 1886 has only been available for about four months. Remember, it was only released on February 20, 2015 for $59.99. It certainly feels like it’s been around a lot longer though, doesn’t it?

The Order: 1886 was criticized for a number of issues after its release. It’s length was perhaps the biggest issue, since some people were beating the title in 6 hours. The plot holes were a problem too. But now that the game is $20 less, will these things be seen as less important issues?
