Here we go again! Hackers at the 27th Chaos Communication Conference announced that they have found the PS3’s “cryptology key” which can be used to change the function of the PlayStation 3 and allow users and developers to create new software for the system.  The hackers admitted that this is just the first step, but the homebrew world is already getting excited about this new development. Although Sony has not responded to this development, you can bet another system update is being prepared at this very moment to thwart any hacking attempt, as these almost always lead to software piracy. |
