Three Codemasters Games Leave Steam and GOG

Three Codemasters Games Leave Steam and GOG

When a new year dawns, sometimes you have to leave some remnants of the past behind. For example, we’ve lost access to some classic Codemasters games. The company is known for its racing titles, and now three of them are completely absent from digital distributors like Steam and GOG. I hope you all already own Dirt 3, F1 2013, and Grid.

Grid disappeared from GOG first on December 31, due to license expirations. In the two days since, Dirt 3, F1 2013, and Grid have been removed from both Steam and the Humble store. This comes after Grid was given away via Humble on December 23.

While this is disappointing, other entries in the series remain available on the various storefronts. You can still find games like Dirt Rally, F1 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014, and Grid 2 online. If you didn’t grab Dirt 3, F1 2013, or Grid before their delisting, there’s still a way to enjoy similar experiences.
