Titanfall 2 Open Beta Live on Xbox One, PS4

Titanfall 2 Open Beta Live on Xbox One, PS4

Titanfall 2 impressions have been all over the place from Gamescom and from the lucky few who got early access to the multiplayer “technical test.” Some say that the game moves much slower than the original. Some say that the actual Titans don’t get enough action this time around. Others think that this addresses every known issue with the original Titanfall and is better by far. Time to dial down the noise and decide for yourself.

The Titanfall 2 open beta, or “tech test,” is now live on Xbox One and PS4. The test will conclude on Sunday, so you should be able to get some ample play time in and see what you think. The beta spans three modes on three different maps, so you can get a pretty decent sampling of what the final game will have to offer. Of course, there’s no single-player content here, and PC players won’t get the chance to play the game early because Respawn was worried that data-miners would discover and spoil the details of the single-player campaign for everyone. Titanfall 2 comes out October 28 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
