Tomb Raider has had a bit of hard luck in recent years, but is going through a massive re-imagining process to help “freshen” the series for a new audience. However, it looks like the Tomb Raider movie franchise is also getting a re-imagining. Production firm GK Films has acquired the rights to the franchise, and has said that they plan to “create daring new adventures for the young and dynamic Lara Croft.”  GK Films has also stated that the current plan is to release a movie in 2013, which, coincidentally, will be the tenth anniversary of the last Tomb Raider movie, The Cradle of Life. |
