Trailer For The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts Is Fake

Trailer For The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts Is Fake

Yesterday, a trailer was uploaded to a now closed YouTube channel called TWDSurvivalInstinct. For what it’s worth, the trailer is still available via Mercedes1945 .

Initially, it was believed to be the first official trailer for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, an upcoming Activision title. The game is being developed by Terminal Reality, whom you may know from their work on Kinect Star Wars.

The trailer was filled with screen tearing and an editing job that looks like a high school student film project? And, as it turns out, it may have actually been edited by a high school student.

Activision confirmed today that the trailer is entirely fake. The footage is real, as it was featured on IGN’s Up At Noon, but isn’t indicative of any final product.

So fear not, gamers. Because there’s still some hope that The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct could be an enjoyable game.
