Street Fighter V ‘s final downloadable character for season one makes its debut this Thursday. Urien is an Illuminati-trained powerhouse with the ability to control electricity, exploit rifts in spacetime, and shoot electrified metallic spheres at his opponents. Long-time Street Fighter fans will remember him as the younger brother of Gill, the main antagonist in Street Fighter III . Urien’s first appearance was in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact .
Thursday’s update will also include a handful of bug fixes, and a few new features as well. Players will have an easier time earning Fight Money thanks to new Daily Targets. Seven new colors have been made available for premium character costumes, and nine new environmental KOs have been added as well.
Additionally, a versus CPU mode is finally on the way. Players will now be able to load up single matches against a CPU opponent at various difficulties to practice and hone their skills. This should have been available out of the box back in February. Better late than never, I suppose.
