If you’re a Street Fighter fan and you’ve been eagerly awaiting the new update for Street Fighter V , you may want to clear up some space on your hard drive and settle in for a long download and installation process. All of the new content has been broken up into two separate downloads. The update for Street Fighter V should download automatically, and it’s about 8.3 GB. The Story Mode is a separate download that you’ll find on the PlayStation Store for free. You’ll find it wherever you’d find paid DLC on the PlayStation Store or Steam respectively. That file will fill up an additional 8.1 GB on your hard drive.
Yeah, the update and Story Mode are huge, but it’s worth it for fans of the series. This is what we’ve been waiting for ever since Street Fighter V launched back in February. The update brings with it new stages and costumes, an upgraded currency shop, and matchmaking adjustments. Balrog and Ibuki will also be available for use in competitive play. The Story Mode, called A Shadow Falls , should take players a few hours to play through. Though they’re not yet playable in multiplayer modes, players will be able to play through Story Mode as Juri and Urien as well.
