Video Game Wear*

None

Don’t just play it, display it. Video Game Wear (VGW) is the name of company that allows you to do just that: wear your video game system. Not the game disk, silly, the complete machine. It’s the latest, coolest, trendiest, freakin-tastic fashion statement this side of Gaga’s meat dress, but way more practical and charming.

With VGW you can wear your PSP or DS on your arms, chest, belt, head, feet, or around your neck. With this new rad look, you’re guaranteed to out-bling any of that cheap, over-sized, gold-plated, novelty jewelery. VGW has an extensive line of clothing for males and females, which includes shirts, hats, shoes, belts, and chokers with attachments to hold and display your gaming device. VGW has also developed an exclusive game disk that allows you to use your gaming device as a disco party light, beacon, flashlight, and message display sign.

“Me and my girlfriends love the attention we get with VGW,” says Tiffanus Walderhymen. “We always were hot, but now we’re on fire. We make sure to prominently display our cell phones as well, so people can see we can afford both. I like to wear my DS around my neck. My friend Trinna prefers to attach her DS to her lip ring. You can still totally understand everything she says, too.”

George Junior from Arkansas says he loves to wear his DS in his AC/DC baseball cap. He claims it’s perfect for night fishing, and finding his truck after an evening at the honky tonk. George says it’s made him more popular with the girls without having to resort to tedious grooming practices such as bathing and brushing his teeth.

Melody Frunch loves her PSP flip flops. She wears one PSP on each foot. Melody says they’re awesome for clubbing, but not the most comfortable to dance in.

The more testosterone-fueled guys will like the VGW Console Clothes Line. With this line of clothing you’ll be able to wear your PS2, PS3, Xbox, and Xbox 360 with pride and style. Strap your console to your chest, or carry a pair of them on your shoulders. Either way, you’re going to be the hit of the party. There’s also a backpack version for the less manly. But you’ll be über-popular, since this ensemble comes with remote battery system and a TV screen on the front of the shirt so friends can play video games while you stand around and look awesome.

“We wanted to do something different with video game systems,” says VGW co-founder Rodney Wrot. “Since you can’t eat them, we thought it would be a great idea if people could wear them. They’re already a big hit with celebrities like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, and that’s without enticing them to endorse the product with drugs and alcohol.”

VGW is available wherever fine fashion is sold, so don’t look for it at Wal-Mart, J.C. Penny, Old Navy, or the GAP.
