Were you looking for Sony’s long-delayed possible masterpiece The Last Guardian at E3 this year? It was notably absent both from Sony’s press conference and the show floor. Sony Worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida told Eurogamer that the game is currently experiencing some “technical difficulties.” Yoshida insisted that The Last Guardian is still being designed for the PlayStation 3 rather than for the next generation PlayStation, but he wouldn’t actually commit to any information regarding its release. While it’s possible that The Last Guardian might never come out at all, currently the team in Tokyo remains working hard on the engineering hurdles that the game is facing.  By Becky Cunningham |
