As you may very well know, behemoth World of Warcraft began as a spinoff from the Warcraft games. This has often brought speculation as to whether or not Blizzard would pursue a similar venture with their StarCraft series. As far as we know, Blizzard hasn’t undertaken this project, but someone else has. A man by the name of Ryan Winzen is working on a fan-made World of StarCraft game using the StarCraft II mod tools. Gameplay footage of this pre-alpha mod looks gorgeous, as confirmed in the screenshot below.  Currently, there is no ETA on when World of StarCraft will see the light of day, if ever. |
