Xbox for Dummies?

Xbox for Dummies?

None

Arne Duncan, the U.S. Secretary of Education, stated in an interview with the New York Times that he believes “every student needs access to technology, and I think technology can be a hugely important vehicle to leveling the playing field.”

This sentiment doesn’t extend itself to video games though. When asked if he would consider buying his kids an Xbox, Duncan said his answer to his kids would be, “no, absolutely not.”

Duncan grew up in a household without even a TV, stating that his family read books together every night. The nostalgia for times gone by is nice, but is a household without video games and TV one that exists in the lives of actual students today?
