If you signed on to Xbox LIVE this morning, you may have noticed that your Gamerscore and achievement list are both gone. You aren’t alone. Apparently, several Xbox LIVE users have had their achievement lists and Gamerscores completely wiped without notice. Microsoft is currently looking into this strange occurrence. Right now, they say this is only temporary. “We are aware that some Xbox LIVE members are having problems with their Gamerscores. Affected users should log out and back in to restore their scores,” Microsoft said in an official statement. “While this should fix the issue, updated Gamerscores may not be reflected on Xbox.com for a couple of hours.We’re working on this and expect it to be fully resolved soon.” 
Microsoft has not yet elaborated on what caused the issue. For now, fans will just have to wait and hope that their gaming track records will come back sometime in the future. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
