XNA Creator’s Club Re-Branded

XNA Creator’s Club Re-Branded

None

Indie game developers who log on to the XNA Creator’s Club may notice some that the service seems to have undergone a major re-brand overnight. In keeping with Microsoft’s commitment to produce more games for the just-unveiled Windows Phone 7 platform, the community space has been re-branded as the App Hub, to encourage more development for the mobile platform. Although there are still resources at the Hub for Xbox 360 development, the game’s tutorial section has been completely overhauled with Windows Phone 7 development information replacing the old Xbox 360 content. Hopefully this is just a post-launch push, as the almost complete removal of Xbox 360 resources for XNA developers could severely limit the amount of new Indie games we see released for the Xbox 360 platform.
