You’ll Still Get New Stuff if You Don’t Buy Destiny’s “The Dark Fall” Expansion

You’ll Still Get New Stuff if You Don’t Buy Destiny’s “The Dark Fall” Expansion

Destiny’s first of two known expansion packs , The Dark Fall , will be launching early next month on Tuesday, December 9, and along with it comes a bunch of new things, including new weapons and equipment.

Whilst it’s understandable that some players may raise a finger in protest to new DLC content being locked behind a paywall, fret not: it’s been confirmed that those who don’t buy Destiny’s first expansion will also receive new stuff as well, which also includes new weapons and equipment.

Detailed in Bungie’s weekly update bulletin, community manager David “Deej” Dague revealed that there will be “ some updates and alterations that every player will be able to enjoy, ” which could be interpreted to arrive in conjunction with The Dark Fall’s release. Below is a list of the things all Destiny players will be able to enjoy, even with and without the upcoming expansion pack.

  • Some new Weapons and Armor

  • New Daily Bounties

  • Five additional Bounty slots

The Dark Below on its own will set you back £19.99, or your regional equivalent. If you’d like to buy it along with Destiny’s second expansion pack, “ House of Wolves ”, you can purchase the Destiny Expansion Pass for £34.99, or you regional equivalent.
