Zach Braff’s “Video Games: The Movie” Hits NA Theaters on July 18

As reported by GameSpot on Wednesday, June 18, the forthcoming feature-length movie detailing the rise of the videogames industry, entitled “ Video Games: The Movie ”, will debut in North America–US and Canada–on Friday, July 18.

Eager viewers will be able to watch the movie a few days in advance by purchasing it through iTunes and other digital platforms on Tuesday, June 15.

Directed by Jeremy Snead and produced by Scrubs star Zach Braff , Video Games: The Movie recounts the videogame industry’s origins from decades ago to the billion-dollar powerhouse it is today. The movie itself is only available for a short period of time, so be sure to check the list below of participating theatres if you fancy watch it. Some respective dates and days for available viewing have also been listed.

Versions of the film will also be available in other countries around the world, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and all of Latin America. Subtitling and dubbing will also vary between countries.
