Nintendo held press events in New York City and Amsterdam today, where it unveiled the details for the North American and European launches of the Nintendo 3DS. The handheld console will be available March 25 in Europe, and March 27 in North America. In the States, it will retail for $249.99.
Features include a 3D camera, a Mii-maker that takes an image of your face and transforms it into a Mii, and an internet browser. First party titles tentatively scheduled to launch with the system are Nintedogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort, and Steel Diver. No potential release dates have been mentioned for Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D or Kid Icarus: Uprising.
