By now we all know that we’re going to have to wait until September 29 for Nintendo’s press conference to get the official word on when and where the 3DS will launch as well as the handheld’s final price tag. However, this kind of situation never dissuades those hungry for the knowledge from looking for sneak peeks wherever they can. According to a tweet spied by Andriasang, Japan will be seeing the 3DS releasing on November 20.  While this potentially revealing tweet doesn’t come directly from someone inside Nintendo, the source still seems credible. This message came from a person claiming to be a former employee of Keys Factory, a company that makes peripherals for the Wii and DS. In the message he discusses the eleven products he had designed for the 3DS, while working for Keys Factory, being released simultaneously with the handheld, on November 20. Adding a tad more credibility to the claims, both the tweet and his account have since mysteriously disappeared. Here’s hoping this turns out to be close to accurate and that a US launch happens in a similar window. |
