Ace Combat 7 May Come to the Xbox One

Ace Combat 7 May Come to the Xbox One

2017 is kicking off with a leak! Rating information from other countries is often a good way to learn about upcoming titles before official announcements, and this one is no exception. Remember Ace Combat 7 ? It was announced at the PlayStation Experience 2015 for the PlayStation 4? Well, it could apparently be heading to the Xbox One too, if a Taiwan Game Software Rating is accurate.

The Ace Combat 7 rating came up in Taiwan for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It suggests the game is appropriate for players ages 15 and up. All of the other information, regarding the publisher and website, is authentic, and makes it seem possible the flight simulator could come to both systems. However, no release dates are offered. Of course, if this is true, then the Xbox One version wouldn’t have the PlayStation VR compatibility.

The Ace Combat series bounces back and forth when it comes to exclusivity arrangements. The original three were only on the PlayStation, the fourth and fifth were exclusive to the PlayStation 2, Ace Combat Infinity was released on the PlayStation 3, and Ace Combat 6 was only on the Xbox 360. Sometimes, it eschews them completely, as Ace Combat: Assault Horizon was on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Ace Combat 7 coming to both major platforms is quite plausible.
