Amazon’s UK branch has started to cancel all pre-orders for the Wii U. The world’s largest online retailer had priced Nintendo’s next-gen platform at £199.99 ($310), but has now sent an email to consumers who pre-ordered the console that states their order has been cancelled. 
Amazon’s own listing, though, which has now been removed, suggested a July 14th release for the console. Thus, it’s understandable that the listing, as well as its associated attractive price point, may have been an error. By Zak Islam |
