Apple recently sent out invites for an event where it will be making some sort of announcement that has to do with the iPad. Most people believe this means that the rumored iPad 3 will finally be unveiled. The event will take place Wednesday, March 7th in San Francisco. No official details on the iPad’s existence have been announced thus far, but there are plenty of rumors flying around. The most notable of these involves the Retina Display technology that the iPhone 4 and 4S use. The possibility for the iPad to utilize 4G LTE networks has also been discusses on tech forums around the Internet, though no real evidence has been brought forth to support this theory. In addition, some theorize that a smaller, more affordable iPad has been in development. So if the iPad 3 is not announced, perhaps this alternate low-end iPad will be.
