Earlier today, a listing on Apple’s App Store revealed that Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is now available for download on all iPad devices. This revised version of the classic RPG retails for $14.99 and was created based on a partnership between Atari and Beamdog.
The Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition includes multiplayer functionality, remastered artwork and several graphical and interface improvements across the board. As an added bonus, the game also comes complete with all of the previously released expansion packs from the original game. Mac and PC versions of the game launched way back in November of last year.
Today’s news will be a nice treat for iPad users who have been looking for more games to play on their devices. While it is currently unknown which other classic games may currently be in development for the iPad, my best guess is that we will definitely see more for as long as tablets continue to exist.
