Australian Ratings Board Leaks Three Microsoft Titles

None

Australia spends far too much time worrying about whether or not Mortal Kombat will corrupt their youth and turn them into soulless killing machines. As a result, their Classification Board routinely disregards the whole secretive hype buildup phase of a game’s release and posts information about new titles far before they’re ever announced. So all we have to do to see what is coming next is just look to Austrailia. Today they are serving us a big steamy dish of Microsoft.

Three new Microsoft published Xbox titles showed up in the Australian Classification Board database today: Kinect Me, Crimson Alliance, and Fusion: Genesis. Kinect Me doesn’t have much of a description behind it, but it sounds like the same old casual game shovelware we have come to expect from the Kinect. On the other hand, the site did say that the game would feature user-generated content, so perhaps we are looking at some sort of Xbox version of Little Big Planet.

Crimson Alliance, on the other hand, is being developed by Certain Affinity, which had a hand in Call of Duty: Black Ops and the map packs for Halo 2 and Halo: Reach. A warning against fantasy violence and a statement that “your gaming experience may change online” makes us think that this will be the next big shooter/action title from Microsoft studios.

Finally, Fusion: Genesis only had warnings for “mild science fiction violence and coarse language.” So this is not Dead Space, but it might be something to look into anyway.
