Batman: Arkham Origins Receives DLC Including Bat-Crazy “I Am The Night” Mode

The new Batman: Arkham Origins will no doubt occupy gamers for hours, but now with the newly announced modes and DLC, you may have to consider some type of lifestyle change just to get through it all.

an interview with Eurogamer, producer Guillaume Voghel reveals that the “New Game Plus” mode returns but isn’t the end. What will likely be the LITERAL end of many gamers as The Bat is the “I Am The Night” mode, which only allows for one life and absolutely no saves. Yeah, bat-s#@t crazy is what I’m thinking too.

After over 12 hours of game play (not counting the collectibles), the new DLC also sounds interesting and will no doubt remind gamers of scenes from the Batman Begins film. It sees Bruce Wayne travel to Asia and trais under the same tutor who instructs the League of Assassins.

Voghel says: “…it’s ninja-related. It’s when he learned to be a ninja and learned those techniques. He goes to a monastery – custom content was created for the DLC. You’ll be in Asia in the monastery. The team did a great job on that, it looks really good.”

All DLC will be available via the season pass, clocking in at $19.99.
