Players need to use their detective skills to determine which statements are lies and uncover the game’s true mystery.
Telling Lies Main Character
In Telling Lies, players take on the role of former FBI agent Karen Douglas. Karen accesses a USB drive containing footage from an undercover sting operation. The footage follows an FBI agent, David Smith, attempting to infiltrate an eco-terrorist group called “Green Storm.” As the game progresses, Karen discovers dark secrets in both David’s private and work life. From beginning to end Telling Lies is a tense mystery thriller.

Telling Lies is the spiritual successor of Sam Barlow’s previous game Her Story. Her Story also uses live-action footage to tell the story of a woman being questioned about the murder of her husband.
