Batman: Arkham VR is quite an event. It’s going to be Rocksteady’s last Batman game. It’ll be a PlayStation VR launch title. It’s a murder mystery, as opposed to the Arkham series action games we’ve grown accustomed to. And, perhaps unfortunately, it’ll be under three hours long.
A Press Start interview with Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn says Batman: Arkham VR will take about an hour to complete the first time you play. After that first runthrough, you’ll unlock extra features and storylines that will add another 90 minutes to a subsequent playthrough. That is, if you feel like going through the game after the first time. Ginn doesn’t say if those extra features include a different ending or extra storyline.
At least Batman: Arkham VR is a budget price game. It’ll only be $19.99. Still, you may want to think about waiting to grab this one until after the PlayStation VR excitement dies down. With it being under three hours, it may be wise to wait until you can get it for $10.
