Battlefield 1 Beta Ends Thursday, Rewards Available

Battlefield 1 Beta Ends Thursday, Rewards Available

Players have finally had a chance to get their hands on Battlefield 1 via the open beta that kicked off August 30. Feedback has been as mixed and varied as the Battlefield fanbase itself. As for me, I was impressed with the game visually (especially on PC), but felt that it was basically Battlefield 4 or Star Wars Battlefront with a new coat of paint. The only real novelty for me was riding on horseback. I got bored of the beta map pretty quickly and didn’t return to play past level five.

I may reconsider going back, though. It’s been revealed that players who reach level 15, and who have logged on four separate days, will be rewarded with a special dog tag in the final game. I’m all about exclusive swag, so that’s a nice incentive. DICE has also removed the timer on Conquest mode for the final days of the beta, so that’s nice. Keep in mind as you play that DICE is eager to hear your feedback, so head to the official forums and let them know what you think.
