It looks like people really want to know more about a certain “science guy.” The Bill Nye Film, a documentary about the TV personality, is now the most successful documentary of all time on Kickstarter. The film has raised $713,619 with 61 hours to go. It has only slightly overfunded its goal of $650,000.
The previous record holder was “For The Love of Spock,” a documentary about Leonard Nimoy created by his son, Adam Nimoy. That documentary raised $662,640 and is currently under production.
