CoD: Black Ops Now Playable on Xbox One

CoD: Black Ops Now Playable on Xbox One

You know what’s strange? After all these years, and several Call of Duty games later, I still have the most fun playing the original Black Ops version of the Gun Game. My friends and I would stay up all night playing Gun Game online. There was no better feeling than being in the lead with the last weapon, hunting down my buddy sitting right next to me, and taking him down with the ballistic knife. The screams linger in my mind like the sweetest melody. For many of you, Black Ops brought with it the definitive zombie experience, and you’ve been zombie fanatics ever since.

Well here’s some great news for everyone. We just got this heads up from Major Nelson on Twitter : “Call of Duty: Black Ops is now available on Xbox One Backward Compatibility.” So now you can relive those Gun Game glory days and play the game in its simplest form; before all of the randomly generated weapon attachments in Ghosts and wall-running try-hards in Black Ops 3 . I haven’t discovered whether or not split-screen multiplayer is available in this version, so someone be sure to let me know.
