COD: Infinite Warfare Exploit Lets Players Fly

COD: Infinite Warfare Exploit Lets Players Fly

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta was good for a number of reasons, like helping Activision test servers and people sample the multiplayer, but it also resulted in an unintended revelation. It turns out there was quite the bug present in the code. With a little bit of agility and ingenuity, people found a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare exploit that allowed their characters to take flight.

This is not some sort of joke and doesn’t have to do with the jetpacks characters wear. This Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare exploit is instead related to a Synaptic Combat Rig ability. If people equip the Reaper Payload, they’ll be able to continually charge through the air, flying about. You can even start shooting if you allow yourself to descend for a bit before triggering Reaper again. Refine Evil uploaded multiple videos to Twitter showing the exploit in action.

However, there’s some sad news to report. While you may believe your Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Combat Rig can fly, it won’t for long. Infinity Ward is patching this exploit out of the game. You won’t be seeing this special move in the full game! Which is a shame, but maybe we’ll find some other cool exploit?
