Dead Island Ships 3 Million

Dead Island Ships 3 Million

None

Gamers just can’t get enough zombies these days.

To prove it, global sales numbers for Dead Island have recently climbed to three million units since launch. This is contending with some of the best-selling games on the market today. Dead Island’s Publisher, Deep Silver, previously announced that the game had shipped two million copies in September, and it only took a few more months to reach that three million mark.

Aubrey Norris, Manager of Marketing & PR for Deep Silver, bragged to Game Informer a little about this accomplishment.”Dead Island has sold very, very well over the holiday season and we are thrilled that it has sustained a robust level of sell-through since launch in September,” she said.

With a potential movie adaptation coming up and more DLC support supposedly on the way, we won’t be forgetting about Dead Island any time soon. Might we even see a Dead Island sequel someday? We can only hope.
