According to Kingdom Hearts 2.5 developer Tai Yasue, the development for Kingdom Hearts 3 is progressing smoothly. Yasue also said that players can expect some major changes to the game.
Yasue wasn’t at liberty to discuss the potential release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 , which is understandable. However, he mentioned that both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX have met their target release dates, and Kingdom Hearts 3 hasn’t encountered any delay-inducing setbacks yet.
Yasue also provided a few hints at what’s to come. First, Kingdom Hearts 3 will introduce a fundamental change to the series. Apparently this change will also be related to what Disney worlds the team chooses to include. Finally, Yasue confirmed that this will be the last game in The Dark Seekers Chronicles . It’s not a lot information, but I expect we’ll hear some more details about Kingdom Hearts 3 at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
