Dishonored: Definitive Edition Discounted for Existing Owners

Dishonored: Definitive Edition Discounted for Existing Owners

I know that title sounds confusing, but bear with me. Bethesda is releasing a Dishonored: Definitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One owners on August 25. It’s a remaster of the game that looks better and includes every bit of content (including DLC) from the original release. And, best of all, people who already own Dishonored may get it for less.

Microsoft and Sony have decided to do a special, digital deal for the Dishonored: Definitive Edition . If someone goes through the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live to buy the game, it will check to see if a digital version of the original Dishonored for the PS3 or Xbox 360 is in their account. If the answer is yes, then the game will only cost $19.99 instead of $39.99. Customer loyalty is rewarded.

Unfortunately, if you went with a physical copy of the game, there’s no similar offer for you, and there’s no word on any discounts from PC-based digital retailers. You’ll have to pay $39.99 for a digital or physical version of Dishonored: Definitive Edition , though some GameSpots may decide to offer a trade-in deal. Contact your local retailer for details.
