Steam tells me I’ve spent twenty-one hours on Don’t Starve , but it only feels like three. I’ve died countless times; by a raging fire I started accidently, by wolves, by starvation, from the cold, I got mobbed by spiders… I’ve even been killed by a tree (those who have played Don’t Starve might know this certain tree quite intimately). I can attest to its brilliance, and the fact that today at the Playstation 4 review event, a representative of Sony declared that it would be free for Playstation Plus members come its release in January is truly fantastic news.
Apparently, Don’t Starve will release containing the same content as the PC version, and the PC and PS4 versions will update at the same time from then on. A Vita native version will also be coming a few months after the PS4 version.
Attendees were also told that The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will also be free to Playstation Plus members come its release in early 2014. Isaac is another game sitting on my “to devote time to” Steam shelf…
