Dragon Quest Headed to Universal Studios Japan

Dragon Quest Headed to Universal Studios Japan

Nintendo isn’t the only company that’s been talking with Universal Studios about a real world adaptation of games. Square Enix has been contacting the company about an experience too. Dragon Quest is celebrating its 30th anniversary and, as part of the event, a feature has been announced for Universal Studios Japan.

The Universal Studios Japan Dragon Quest installation will be a Real Battle Attraction. Players will equip weapons inspired by the series and head into familiar locations to defeat monsters taken from the games. Basically, it’s supposed to make you feel like you’re on a Dragon Quest quest in real life! Though, there’s no word yet on when it’ll open.

Between Super Nintendo World and this Dragon Quest attraction, Universal Studios Japan is certainly looking like the place to go. I guess plenty of gamers will have to get passports and prepare for trips to Osaka!
