Epic Unveils Impossible Studios

Epic Unveils Impossible Studios

None

In the wake of 38 Studios’ closure and the dissipation of Big Huge Games, many of the subsequently unguided developers were taken in by Unreal Engine juggernaut Epic Games. Today, Epic has finally deigned to reveal their plans for their latest acquisition of talent. The result? Impossible Studios and its flying bear unicorn thing. Also, a new title in the Infinity Blade series, which has thus far provided one of the most involved and polished action-RPG experiences on the iOS.

Infinity Blade: Dungeons, the first title from the fledgling studio, was originally birthed at Epic’s Cary studio, but development has been handed off to the new team (based out of Maryland). As of yet, there’s no word on whether their focus will be on the mobile sector or include more traditional, console and PC-based titles, but there is one thing that can be said with absolute certainty: my, that is a badass logo!
