Fable Legends May Get One Last Chance

Fable Legends May Get One Last Chance

Fable Legends certainly seemed destined to become vaporware. Microsoft decided to close Lionhead Studios. The project was done. Yet now, rumors are flying that the game might have one last chance at survival. MCV has heard from three sources saying the game might not be dead.

Microsoft has been allegedly asking people still at Lionhead if they want to finish Fable Legends . Nothing has been decided, and it’s only a poll. Also, people don’t have to agree. They can supposedly also take a redundancy package and check out when April 2016 ends.

Naturally, Microsoft isn’t confirming or denying anything. People from Lionhead aren’t going on record about Fable Legends either. Personally, I think it’s plausible. It’d be a free-to-play RPG where people could pay to get extra items and such, and you know Microsoft would like that revenue. But, early impressions weren’t encouraging. It’d be better if this wasn’t left as Lionhead’s last project.
