Far Cry 3 Delayed

None

Ubisoft has announced that the launch of Far Cry 3 has been pushed back to November 29 in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and to December 4 in the United States.

Initially, the anticipated first-person shooter was scheduled to drop on September 4 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, but according to producer Dan Hay, the game is being held back in order to make it the best it could be.

“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” Hay said. “Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”

In other Ubisoft-related release date news, a pair of the company’s music games has been given details, as Just Dance 4 will be coming October 2 in EMEA, and October 9 in the US, and Rocksmith’s added bass guitar content will launch October 16 in the US, and October 18 in EMEA.
