Fez Wins 2012 IGF Grand Prize

Fez Wins 2012 IGF Grand Prize

The Seumas McNally Grand Prize is given to outstanding indie games yearly at the Independent Games Festival. This year’s winner is Fez, the 2D/3D platformer that plays with perspective in ways that Super Paper Mario couldn’t even dream of.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first IGF award that Fez has won. In 2008, Fez took the award for excellence in art. Both of these awards were given before the game was even released!

Fez is currently undergoing certification for release on the Xbox LIVE Arcade after five long years of development. Many indie gamers can’t wait to get their hands on this double award-winning title. We will bring you more information about the release of Fez as it becomes available.
