When I saw From Dust at this year’s E3, I initially thought it was going to be a tiny puzzle game with a cult following that eventually was going to be swept under the carpet of big name releases coming out at the same time. Boy, was I wrong. It turns out that From Dust sold amazingly well. So well, in fact, that it broke Ubisoft day-one sales records. Ubisoft did not say which game From Dust beat out for the record of best-selling Ubisoft XBLA game of all time, but it did say that it beat its predecessor by 45 percent. This means it outdid such great games as Beyond Good and Evil HD, Scott Pilgrim VS The World: The Game, and Outland.
