Following the financial predicament of GAME UK, GAME Australia’s administrator, PricewaterhouseCoopers, has said the retailer will close its 31 remaining stores. The video game retailer will close 16 stores in Australia immediately, while the other 15 will be closed within the coming weeks. “In the interests of creditors, the 31 remaining GAME stores are to be closed over the coming weeks and a final closing down sale has commenced with discounts of up to 60 percent available in-store and online,” said administrator Kate Warwick said in a statement.
