GNOG Is a Game About Monster Heads, Coming to PS4 and Project Morpheus

Yesterday KO-OP Studio announced on PlayStation’s blog that their puzzler, GNOG , will be coming to PS4 and will be supported by Morpheus. The game is backed by the Double-Fine Presents label, and fittingly so because it has a unique premise.

GNOG is an exploratory puzzle game, where players explore a large universe filled with mechanical monster heads–a strange description yet an accurate one. For instance, some monster heads look like a camera or house, and there are even stackable heads with bunk beds inside. I’m sure there will be more strange looking beings in trailers to come.

While the blog post reveals little information about the gameplay, we do know that exploration is key, and the developers, KO-OP, took inspiration from titles such as FEZ and Windosill . The company will reveal more details about GNOG in future posts. We’ll keep you updated.

GNOG is currently planned for release in 2016.
