Guacamelee was supposed to be updated today, but wasn’t due to a new bug being discovered. The bug essentially prevented you from turning back into a luchador from chicken mode, which would prevent progress in the game. Developer Drinkbox studios has said that they are working on a fix and it should be ready soon.
The update was supposed to give three new costumes to Juan and Tostado. A series of new trophies was to be integrated into the game as well. The costume pack will become available for $1.99 once the hotfix is applied. For any users who have already downloaded the pack and gotten stuck by accident. Drinkbox Studios has provided instructions on how to bypass the progression stopping bug.
