Namco Bandai has been in a giving mood all week, and it looks like it won’t be over any time soon. Just today they announced that Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 will be released in North America on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer. Released in December in Japan (then called Gundam Musou 3) it has already sold over 430,000 units according to their latest earnings report. ![]() Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 appears to be the love child of the famed Dynasty Warriors franchise and Gundam, a 30-year old anime with giant mechs and more than enough explosions. Sporting a stylized cel-shaded look this title differs visually from the previous entries in the series. There are also a few new gameplay changes to go along with its fresh coat of paint. It’ll feature a Recovery Gauge for healing your damaged mech, a Partner Strike system for AI assistance, and an Emergency Dash for evading attacks. |
