In a lengthy diatribe posted to his Twitter yesterday, Tekken game director Katsuhiro Harada expressed his intense frustration with what he sees as the negative elements of the Tekken fan community. He comes across as fatigued, tired of fans repeatedly making requests or demands related to voice-work that they perceive as distinct from that in the earlier games (even in cases where it is the same master data) and entreaties for specific characters to make a return.
This open letter to the Tekken fan community ends with an appropriately apathetic coda: “Thanks for understanding or not understanding. Whatever.” By Shelby Reiches |
