InterFear is your key to hacking in the real world. Your handheld device will be able to jam and command electronics from streetlights to traffic lights, TV sets to TV stations, vehicles with computerized systems to computerized security systems. InterFear is sold for education purposes only; it’s not intended for illegal or subversive activities.

With InterFear installed on your handheld, just point, click, and control the world. It’s that simple. InterFear is like a cross between an electronic gun and a magic wand. There are many ways to creatively control electronic devices; InterFear gives you complete control of them. But remember the disclaimer: InterFear is not intended for actual use.

InterFear is a very powerful tool. It can be installed on the PlayStation Vita or Nintendo 3DS. Utilizing the handhelds’ powerful CPUs, electro-laser photon-emitting diodes send signals to receptor devices such as remote controllers, alarm systems, cameras, computer networks, and cell phones. A regenerative decoding reception system displays a list of commands you can trigger to control the device in question.

InterFear lets you interfere with peoples’ electronic systems and ultimately their lives. Some of the things you can do with InterFear—but shouldn’t, mind you—include changing someone’s TV channel anywhere in the world, gaining access to secured areas such as garages and electronic vaults, jamming electronics on airlines, intercepting cell phone conversations, and playing video games on gigantic outdoor electronic billboards.

The developers say that InterFear was created to teach kids how modern electronics work. Through interactivity with real-world devices and systems, the developers want to inspire kids to pursue science and technology as a career. By learning about the inherent weaknesses in such electronic systems, its hope is that the kids will aid in the development of more secure systems in the future.

“We think it’s important to show kids what they are capable of,” says InterFear rep Lars Mahoney. “And InterFear gives them that power. But the most important power we want them to master is self control; the ability to show restraint and not actually use InterFear. Sure, it comes with permission forms, wavers, contracts, agreement licenses, and so forth, but it’s much easier to just not use it at all. And there’s always the possibility of jail time or the death penalty if used for evil.”

When asked how he could guarantee InterFear would not get into the hands of terrorists, Mahoney says it will not be available in Canada.
