The long-time lawsuit between Viacom and Konami has finally been settled. Konami sued Viacom, Harmonix’ parent company, for copyright infringement over the guitar and drum peripherals used in Rock Band games. The two companies settled out of court. No financial details of the settlement have been released, but Konami announced it settled all “claims and counterclaims” against Viacom, while Viacom has also dropped its countersuit against Konami.  |
