L.A. Noire Bringing Gritty Crime Drama To PCs

None

If you are interested in L.A. Noire but are just too attached to PC gaming to give it a shot, well, then you are a strange person, my friend. But Rockstar has you covered nonetheless. According to a recent announcement by Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire is making tracks to the PC sometime soon, and it’s going to get extra features to boot.

The PC version will “run on a wide range of PCs and feature customization, including keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality to both optimize and customize the performance and user experience.” It will also have options for enhancing graphics, including full stereoscopic 3D on monitors and graphics cards that can support it.

The PC version will be developed by Rockstar Leeds and should be coming out this fall. Why a PC version? “L.A. Noire is a new type of game that makes players see through a detective’s eyes in 1940s Los Angeles,” said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. “Its unique blend of story, action and crime solving will be perfect to play on PC.”

I’m going to read that statement as: “why not?”
