As has become tradition with new releases in the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3 will bring with it a bevy of licensed peripherals. Past entries have begotten controllers, headsets, even themed consoles with limited edition designs and expanded storage capacity. The peripherals have also, by and large, been Mad Catz-made. For Modern Warfare 3’s PC gaming crowd, however, Activision has done something different. Big-name peripheral manufacturer Logitech has been tasked with creating special, Modern Warfare 3-branded editions of its G105 gaming keyboard and G9X laser mouse. The former has gamer-friendly features such as macro keys, backlighting and a switch to disable the Windows and Context Menu keys. The mouse features on-board memory for holding up to five programmable profiles and a weight tuning system, in addition to adjustable dpi.
