Lords of the Fallen Dev Talks about Challenging Gamers

On Wednesday, June 11, CI Games’ executive producer Tomasz Gop made a post on PlayStation.Blog in preparation of the game being showcased at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles, discussing how Lords of the Fallen will challenge gamers and prompting them to try it out for themselves.

Being available for the first time to play on PC and PlayStation 4 at E3 2014 in the CI Games meeting room, you’ll be able to experience for yourself how Lords of the Fallen will challenge you. As a way to coax you into taking CI up on their claim, Gop has said that there will be some extra treats for anyone who defeats not only the Catacombs scenario that we’ve selected, but also the Champion boss that awaits right at the end of it.

Whether it’ll be the first person to try out the game or the hundredth, Gop builds up Lords of the Fallen as a game that will definitely challenge you.

And if someone ends up craving more, ” Gop continued, “ there will be an additional boss to fight, just in case someone really has something to prove. Make no mistake, guys, we are doing this to get ready to show the hands-on demo to the public as soon as possible, and to show it in the best way possible – you are who we’re making this game for, after all!

We established back in April that Lords of the Fallen is touted to be a game that’ll narrow the gap between mainstream and core players .

While nothing about the game will be dumbed down, Lords of the Fallen will have its complex elements presented in a way that’s understandable to a larger audience without actually undermining its complexity. For instance, the title’s story will tell itself without it being imposed onto you, Gop explained, presumably meaning that the game may have a Show, Don’t Tell trope to it.

Lords of the Fallen will be releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC later on this year. No specific release date information has been revealed as of yet. Stay tuned for more E3 coverage throughout this week.
